After joining Corners Outreach in the fall of 2019, Pilar stepped up and lead our first official Early Learning classes at both Academy locations in January of 2020. She has grown the program from just a handful of students and parents in early 2020 to 100 students enrolled in 2023. Pilar also continued her education with the Atlanta Speech School and received her Child Development Associate Degree to make sure she was equipped with the knowledge and skills to prepare our early learners for Kindergarten.

I am a proud Georgia Peach, born and raised, and an even prouder Mexican-American. I have 8 years in child care experience and it has created a dedication for children's success as students, but even more importantly as successful people. I am truly blessed that my life has created a pathway to Corners where I can invest my life into our students' lives. I want to be their pillar!
