About Corners Music Academy: Corners Music Academy seeks to enrich the lives of our students and their families by providing music classes and private lessons at minimal cost. Our mission is to unlock the musical potential of our community while encouraging their individuality, talents, and expression. We believe that music should not be a luxury but rather an enriching opportunity offered to everyone regardless of income.
What Corners Music Academy does: Corners Music Academy offers group music lessons to students from Kindergarten to 12th grade. We partner with musicians in our community to provide lessons in piano, guitar, woodwind, strings, and voice! Students at Corners are offered to join in the Corners Children’s Choir “C3”, Ukulele Ensemble “Uke Matters”, and Corners Music Teen Program. With a few performances per year, Music Academy students are able to give their musical gifts back to our community, empowering them to share their skills and passions!
One Community: Corners Music Academy brings together students of all backgrounds to join in making beautiful music and celebrating each other’s hard-work and talent by hosting quarterly recitals. Our Director: Rontray Miller II, MM, brings a wealth of musical talent and experience to Corners Outreach as our new Music Director. With a Master of Music in Choral Conducting and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Georgia State University, Rontray's passion for music shines through in every note he conducts. With a background in choral directing, teaching, and performance, Rontray is dedicated to bringing the joy of music to individuals and families in our community. Welcome Rontray as he leads us in expanding our music programs and making a positive impact through the power of music.
